TWO TYPES OF REPUTATION

(1) IP reputation: This is determined by the autoresponder company which is why you need to choose a good autoresponder.  Your IP address will get delivery penalties if spam emails are sent.

(2) Domain reputation: This is determined by the domain you choose. 

Tips for building an excellent reputation and generating email responses

  • Avoid being marked as spam from the recipient.

  • Strive for getting your emails opened.

  • Generate a response from your list by ending emails with P.S. asking a certain question that will force the recipient to reply.

  • Controversial info gets better responses and makes more sales; people are more likely to open the email.

  • Even if the response from the recipient is bad it is still beneficial (Without spam complaints).

  • Don’t email more than five times a day unless you segment people by activity behavior.

    Don’t add too many images in emails.

    Properly format emails so they are easy to read.

    Don’t put crazy blocks of text.

    One-liners are king.

  • 5

    Don’t add too many links. Use specific sentences and keywords as links.

  • 6

    Use a P.S. note at the end of the email.
